We have eaten at Papiamento at least once on each of our visits overthe past 11 years. The food is unfailingly excellent, the service is excellent and the atmosphere private, quiet and adult. It has a well deserved reputation for the quality of the dining experience.

One of my favorite places. Great romantic atmosphere, wonderful food. Shrimp cocktail a must. Curried shrimp and scallops are the best. Second visit to this place, won't be my last.

Unfortunately, we were a large group (36) which this restaurant cannot handle. We were seated at 9:15 for our 8:30 reservation and then ignored by the wait staff for another 15 minutes. The food was ordinary and service slow. Getting a cab home at the end of the evening was also a nightmare but yes, the restaurant is beautiful.

We loved the food and the atmosphere. The grilled red snapper was wonderful and the shrimp were huge. Sit outside by the pool.
