We stayed at the Catamaran Hotel in Falmouth this February. It is a small 14 room hotel right on a small beach. They have also now added a swimming pool. The hotel was lovely and peaceful. The owners of the hotel are local and have owned the hotel for years. They are all really helpful and caring, and can't do enough for you. It is in a wonderful position and not at all commercialized and the owner does a fantastic barbecue on a Tuesday that is not to be missed. The four ground floor rooms are right on the beach and it is great to sit there chilling on any evening. They have a kitchenette so you can self-cater or not far away is Jimmy's Bar & Restaurant that you can get breakfast and snacks or an evening meal from. If you want somewhere quiet and not a large soul-less hotel this is the place. Will definitely be going back.
